What KWFinder does well, and when Queris is enough

KWFinder is a solid keyword tool, and Mangools sells it only as part of a bundle with SERPChecker, SERPWatcher, LinkMiner, SiteProfiler and the AI Search Watcher. Keyword suggestions, keyword difficulty, monthly history back to 2015 and search volume for more than 50,000 locations: if you want to discover keywords and watch rankings, the suite is well rounded. Entry pricing is €61 a month billed monthly or €37.70 a month on the annual plan (Basic, shown in euros on the pricing page on 2 November 2026, with no statement on VAT), and keyword lookups are counted per 24 hours: 100 on Basic, 500 on Premium, 1,200 on Agency.

If you already have your keywords and just want to know what is behind them, you pay for the other Mangools modules too. Queris does exactly that one part: paste up to 1,000 keywords per query and get estimated search volume based on Google data, CPC, advertiser competition, the 12-month trend and, on demand, keyword difficulty, across eight markets. Queries are counted per month, not per day: 10 on the free plan with no credit card, 25 on Basic for €15, 100 on Pro for €29, 250 on Business for €49, all including VAT and cancellable monthly.

When Queris is enough as a KWFinder alternative

01

You bring your own keyword lists

Product terms, client lists, a Search Console export: you want search volume, CPC and trend for them, not hundreds of new suggestions. Up to 1,000 keywords per query; KWFinder takes 200 per import on Basic and 700 on Premium and Agency according to its feature page.

02

You work in bursts, not every day

Mangools counts lookups per 24 hours. If you run through three lists in one day and then nothing for two weeks, a monthly quota fits better: 2,000 terms are two of the 100 queries on the Queris Pro plan.

03

You research inside ChatGPT or Claude

Through the connector you ask for the search volume of your list in the chat and get the numbers from Queris straight into the answer, instead of a figure the language model makes up. Those requests count against your monthly quota.

When KWFinder and Mangools stay the better choice

01

You need rank tracking and backlinks

SERPWatcher tracks 200, 700 or 1,500 keywords weekly, daily on the Agency plan, and LinkMiner returns up to 1.2 million backlink rows a month, according to the pricing page. Queris has neither rank tracking nor a backlink checker.

02

You want to discover keywords, not just score them

KWFinder returns suggestions from related terms, autocomplete and questions for every seed, plus the search results page with metrics per result. Queris scores the list you paste; question keywords come from the AI keyword add-on (€9 a month).

03

You need locations and languages beyond eight markets

According to its guide, KWFinder covers more than 50,000 locations and 40 languages, down to city level. Queris delivers country-level data for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the US, the UK, France, Italy and Spain.

[ THE MATH ]

The yearly math

Mangools Basic costs €732 a year billed monthly (€61 a month) or €452.40 paid upfront (€37.70 a month on the annual plan), shown in euros with no statement on VAT, as of 2 November 2026. Queris Pro with 100 queries per month, up to 100,000 keywords, costs €348 a year including VAT. That is a gap of €104.40 to €384 a year. If you need rank tracking and backlinks, the extra is well spent. For search volume on your own lists, it is not.

[ FAQ ]

FAQ

Is Queris a free KWFinder alternative?

For the keyword data part, yes. The free plan includes 10 queries per month with up to 1,000 keywords each, so up to 10,000 keywords, no credit card and no expiry date. Mangools also has a free account without a credit card, with 5 lookups per 24 hours and 15 related keywords per lookup according to its product page (as of 2 November 2026). Rank tracking, backlinks and SERP analysis are not part of any Queris plan.

How much does KWFinder cost compared to Queris?

KWFinder is only sold as part of the Mangools bundle: €61 (Basic), €81 (Premium) or €141 (Agency) a month billed monthly, or €37.70, €52.70 and €97.70 a month on the annual plan; prices shown in euros with no statement on VAT (source: mangools.com/plans-and-pricing, as of 2 November 2026). Queris is free up to 10 queries a month, then €15 (25 queries), €29 (100) or €49 (250) a month including VAT, cancellable monthly.

Can I import and filter my own lists in Queris like in KWFinder?

Yes, that is the core of Queris. You paste up to 1,000 keywords per query; KWFinder allows 200 per import on Basic and 700 on Premium and Agency according to its feature page. In Queris you filter lists by text, search volume, CPC and keyword difficulty and export them as CSV. KWFinder has more filters, such as word count, search intent and SERP features.

Does Queris have rank tracking or backlink data like SERPWatcher and LinkMiner?

No. Queris does not track rankings and has no backlink checker. The domain analysis add-on (€29 a month) shows an overview, rankings, competitors and 12 months of history for a domain as a snapshot, but it replaces neither weekly rank tracking nor a backlink index.

Is the search volume in Queris more accurate than in KWFinder?

We do not claim that. Google does not publish the actual number of searches, so both providers estimate. Queris shows estimates based on Google data plus a 12-month trend, KWFinder shows the average of the last 12 months with history back to 2015. Read both as an order of magnitude and watch the trend.
